Bethel VNA is a not for profit home care agency. Primary revenues are from payer sources such as Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance. Today, with decreasing reimbursements and increasing costs, the BVNA seeks additional funding through individual and grant donations and fundraising events.
Our annual spring fundraising event Breakfast for Care was a wonderful success. Thanks to everyone for your continuing support! Our upcoming breakfast is scheduled for Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at the Stony Hill Inn. It is never too early to save the date. For more information please call the Bethel VNA at 792-0864 and ask for Mary Einzig.
A special note of gratitude to the Union Savings Bank for being a major sponsor of the upcoming eighth annual Breakfast for Care.
The Bethel VNA participates in the Leave a Legacy Program, an estate planning program where you can make a difference in the lives that follow. For more information on Leave a Legacy or to donate to the Bethel VNA please call us at 203-792-0864.
This year the Bethel VNA will be celebrating its 80th birthday. Please look for upcoming events as we celebrate this 80th year in providing our community with the finest in home health care.
Now available at the BVNA
The Bethel VNA has published a savory cookbook! The recipes are a collection of favorites from our staff, volunteers, patients and our senior center community. The cost is $10 per book! They make a terrific gift!
In addition to our cookbooks the Bethel VNA sells beautiful town of Bethel 'vintage' afghans. The cost for one afghan is $45. If you purchase an afghan and a cookbook, the cost is $50, a five dollar savings.
If interested, please call the Bethel VNA at (203) 792-0864 and ask for Mary Einzig or Joyce Daly. Remember it is for a great cause!
